Bionic Tour & Rallies

The Bionic Tour is a journey of discovery through Nuremberg Zoo. You can explore more than 20 stations at the animal enclosures independently during your visit to the zoo. We are happy to offer guided tours of the Bionic Tour and convey selected topics from nature and technology – tailored to the target group and easy to understand.

There are also two exciting Bionic Tour rallies (forest path/lake path). Just grab the leaflet at the zoo entrance or in the Bionicum and solve the tricky puzzle.

All information and rallies are available in German and English.

Bionic Garden

The bionic garden is home to plants that can be models for technical innovations. These range from dirt-repellent facades and weather-sensitive houses to ingeniously folded solar sails for space travel. The Bionic Garden is located at the barrier-free entrance to the Bionicum.

The digital station tells you more: a chirpy bee guides you through the different species you can discover there:

Zoo-Rally

The Bionic Tour is also available as a digital rally. You can access this via the browser of any smartphone with internet. With the help of the learning website ‘LearningSnacks’, your smartphone becomes an interactive guide through the zoo. The smartphone rally is designed for participants from Year 7 onwards. There is one route through the upper part of the zoo and one through the lower part.
